Terms & Conditions
The legal agreements and operational terms governing our projector repair and maintenance services.
Service Agreement Overview
These Terms and Conditions apply to all repair, diagnostic, and maintenance services provided by Projector Repair London ("we", "us", or "our") to you, the customer. By booking a repair, handing over your equipment, or authorizing a quote, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.
1. Diagnostics & Evaluation
- All units booked in for repair are subject to a non-refundable diagnostic fee. This fee covers courier collection (if applicable) and our technician's time to strip down and evaluate the unit.
- If you proceed with the quoted repair, the initial diagnostic fee is generally deducted from your final repair bill (unless stated otherwise on your estimate).
2. Quotations & Authorization
Following diagnostics, we will provide a comprehensive repair estimate. No repair work will commence until we have received your explicit authorization (via email or recorded phone call).
- Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. Part prices may fluctuate beyond this period.
- If hidden or secondary faults are discovered during the repair process, we will halt work and issue a revised quote for your approval.
3. Payment Terms
Payment in full is required before the repaired projector is returned or dispatched back to you. We accept all major credit/debit cards and BACS bank transfers. Corporate and educational institutions may be eligible for 30-day net payment terms subject to prior credit approval and purchase order submission.
4. Uncollected Goods
We have limited storage capacity at our London workshop. Please be aware of the following conditions regarding abandoned equipment:
If a projector is left uncollected, or a repair invoice remains unpaid for a period of 60 days after notification of completion (or notification of an unrepairable status), the equipment will be considered abandoned. We reserve the right to securely recycle or sell the unit to recover our diagnostic, repair, and storage costs, in accordance with the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977.
5. Liability & Data
- Data Loss: For smart projectors with internal storage, we are not liable for any loss of customized settings, apps, or data during the repair process. We advise backing up network settings if possible.
- Transit Damage: If you are packaging the unit for our courier, you are responsible for ensuring it is adequately protected. We are not liable for damage incurred during transit due to insufficient packaging.
6. Warranty
Our repair services are covered by our 90-Day Guarantee. Please refer to our Warranty & Return Policy for full details regarding coverage, exclusions, and our non-refundable repair policies.
